As artists, we wield tremendous influence in our culture. Plato rightly feared the arts’ ability to shape thought and sway the affection of society. When we harness the power of our public voice to speak out as advocates, we pierce the consciences of good men and women. We are proud to join forces with artists who are willing to use their influence and platform to tell the stories of those whose voices might never be heard... the poor, the marginalized, and the oppressed living in impoverished communities around the world.

World Vision thanks Tim Neufeld for his partnership

Today World Vision announces that after many years of wonderful partnership, musician Tim Neufeld is no longer a member of the organization’s Artist Collective. He has been part of the World Vision Artist Collective since 2001 – as a member of the bands Starfield and most recently Tim & the Glory Boys – as a faithful and passionate advocate for children in developing countries.

Through numerous tours such as the Joy Ride tour and the Trees tour he has gifted Canadians all over the country and those in the U.S. with an immersive and transforming experience of soulful music and inspiration. Travelling with World Vision to places like Rwanda, Kenya, India and Cambodia, Tim has openly and willingly shared his heart for the world’s most vulnerable children with his fans, encouraging them to come alongside the organization to help lift children out of poverty through sponsorship.

He has been an appreciated partner and friend during his years working with World Vision we wish him well as he continues his advocacy work and pursues new and exciting opportunities. We know that God will continue to use Tim to make a positive difference for His kingdom.
