As artists, we wield tremendous influence in our culture. Plato rightly feared the arts’ ability to shape thought and sway the affection of society. When we harness the power of our public voice to speak out as advocates, we pierce the consciences of good men and women. We are proud to join forces with artists who are willing to use their influence and platform to tell the stories of those whose voices might never be heard... the poor, the marginalized, and the oppressed living in impoverished communities around the world.

GMA Week: World Vision Artist Collective Workshops

   Jasmine Owen

Time flies, and today we’re just seven days from GMA Week! The festivities officially kick off next Thursday, January 26 with the 38th Annual Covenant Awards, celebrating the past, present and future of Canadian Christian music.

But today, we want to highlight some exciting workshops taking place on Friday, January 27 as part of Break Forth Canada 2017.

Co-presented by GMA Canada and the World Vision Artist Collective, this Intensive Learning Workshop is designed to engage individuals who desire to reach and influence culture across all generations through story, music, art, technology and advocacy.

Engage with experts in their specific fields and come away with practical tools that will help you take your craft to the next level. You can mix and match from 12 unique sessions to custom-build a day of learning tailored specifically to your interests! Take a look:
