I am very proud to be a part of The World Vision Artist Collective, it's a concrete and realistic way to make profound change, person-to-person.
I’m a touring musician and songwriter who has, over the years, made his home in various parts of the world. I’ve always considered myself privileged to have been born in Canada and to make my living as a musician in this bountiful country. It’s not an easy way to make a living, but in my travels I’ve come to realize that I am very lucky and in comparison to many in this world, I am wealthy. The Artist Collective gives me an opportunity to share this wealth and to use my privilege and my music to encourage others to step forward and offer what they have to others who are much less fortunate.
When you sponsor a child, you help break the cycle of poverty by providing a child and their community with life-saving necessities. Canadians have been partnering with World Vision for 60 years, because they've discovered that sponsorship works. With your help, we partner with the child, their family, neighbours and local leaders to transform a struggling community into one that is thriving. World Vision’s programs focus on Food, Education, Health, Clean water, Child Protection and other vital areas which improve the lives of children and their community.
