"I love spending time with the children, making them smile, singing and dancing with them. It's amazing how the smallest gestures make them so happy."
In 2011, Lisa Nicole moved to Vancouver from small town Castlegar, B.C. and released her first song to iTunes. Since then, she has been writing and recording in Nashville, performing on the main stages of music festivals and the CCMAs and touring the country. In the summer of 2015, “Do You Like That” will be Nicole’s fourth release on country radio across Canada.
Nicole is excited to partner with World Vision, having seen first hand how children live in third-world countries. She spent about a month each in Honduras and Bolivia, living right in an orphanage, supplying children with school supplies and hygiene accessories.
When you sponsor a child, you help break the cycle of poverty by providing a child and their community with life-saving necessities. Canadians have been partnering with World Vision for more than 50 years, because they've discovered that sponsorship works. With your help, we partner with the child, their family, neighbours and local leaders to transform a struggling community into one that is thriving. World Vision’s programs focus on Food, Education, Health, Clean water, Child Protection and other vital areas which improve the lives of children and their community.
