"I can't write it all down, I just know that everything we do matters and counts."
With nine albums to her credit, chart-topping Canadian Walk of Famer Jann Arden is widely known for her pop music, passionate lyrics and wry sense of humour. In all, Arden has sold more than two million albums worldwide and has eight Juno award and ten SOCAN award wins to her name.
In 2009, Arden travelled to Africa with World Vision and saw firsthand how child sponsorship works to change children’s lives. Her song, “Another Human Being, ” from her 2000 album, Blood Cherry Red, was inspired by her time spent in Africa. She continues to be an advocate for sponsorship and children’s needs around the world.
When you sponsor a child, you help break the cycle of poverty by providing a child and their community with life-saving necessities. Canadians have been partnering with World Vision for more than 50 years, because they've discovered that sponsorship works. With your help, we partner with the child, their family, neighbours and local leaders to transform a struggling community into one that is thriving. World Vision’s programs focus on Food, Education, Health, Clean water, Child Protection and other vital areas which improve the lives of children and their community.
