Who are The Harlem Globetrotters?


The Original Harlem Globetrotters are a worldwide icon, synonymous with unique family entertainment and great basketball skills, and breaking down barriers and acts of kindness off the court.

We have witnessed first-hand the positive impact World Vision has on families, children and entire communities. The Globetrotters are known worldwide as the “Ambassadors of Goodwill™,” and we are proud to expand that mission through our partnership with World Vision. We have Globetrotters players who personally sponsor children, and we have encouraged thousands of others to do so by teaching our fans more about World Vision at our live events.

When you sponsor a child, you help break the cycle of poverty by providing a child and their community with life-saving necessities. Canadians have been partnering with World Vision for more than 50 years, because they've discovered that sponsorship works. With your help, we partner with the child, their family, neighbours and local leaders to transform a struggling community into one that is thriving. World Vision’s programs focus on Food, Education, Health, Clean water, Child Protection and other vital areas which improve the lives of children and their community.
